Summers are hot and humid averaging between 23 and 33°C. The majority of the region’s rainfall occurs during the summer months. Temperatures are slightly cooler inland near the mountains.
Winters are dry and clear with little rainfall during the season. Temperatures average between 16 and 25°C with cold nights. Frost may occur inland and snow is common during June near the mountains.
